Jack and the Anna McPartlin writer of 'So What If I am Broken' ( based on the fictional lives of Jack L fans) will be on the Ian Dempsey Show this coming Tuesday morning the 13th of October.
Anna's book is earning great reviews and is fast becoming a best seller.

04.10.2009 - New album 'The Story So Far'
In celebration of Anna McPartlin's latest novel 'So What If I am Broken' based on the lives of fictional fans of Jack, a long awaited retrospective collection called ‘The Story So Far’ is being released on the 16th of October.
The album will include all of Jack’s most sought after songs on a 24 track double album. It has been re-mastered and features bonus tracks personally selected from Jack's favourites from over the years.
For example, Little Man and Hallelujah, both boast a choir while Old man River includes a full orchestra. Ed Wood is here live in all its frenzied glory along with all the songs you’d expect to hear from Jack’s six albums to date, Wax, Metropolis Blue, Universe, The Little Universe Show, Broken Songs and Burn On. The Story So Far will be available nationwide.
Jack will be performing in the Olympia Theatre on Friday the 13th of November

A book based on the fictional lives of Jack L fans is available nationwide at book stores this week. It was written by the international bestselling author Anna Mc Partlin. The novel is called 'So What If I’m Broken'. Each chapter title is a Jack L song. It is an excellent and fascinating read and a must for Jack L fans.
There will be more exciting news about Jack later this week.

Don't forget that Jack is performing at the most interesting festival of the year - the Flat Lake Festival on Saturday the 15th of August.
Jack joins Cillian Murphy, Shane McGowan and a host of other luminaries for a weekend of amazing vibes and whacky fun all run by the best selling author and past cohort Pat McCabe. For the event Jack has put together a one off celebration of a major influence of his, Paul Robeson for the festival.

Jack will be performing in New York with the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra against the stunning backdrop of the biggest firework display on the East River in Manhattan this summer on the 13th of June. The concert starts at 8.pm and is a free outdoor event with crowds of up 10,000 expected as part of the annual Children's Day festival.

08.05.2009 - Unique Song Writing Workshop
Jack will be joning a fantastic festival line-up of more than fifty writers including Annie Proulx, Jennifer Johnston, Roger McGough, Martina Cole and Louis de Bernieres at the 2009 West Cork Literary Festival, Bantry Co. Cork.The Three day workshop with Jack L runs from Monday 6th – Wednesday 8th July (9.30am - 12.30pm).
This workshop will cover the craft of song writing. Jack L will share his own experiences of song writing and develop the talents of the course participants over the three days.
